Meet our principal: Mrs. Nichole Page
Mrs. Nichole Page serves as Principal of Phoenix Academy High School, bringing a deep commitment to creating educational environments where every student has access to meaningful opportunities, strong relationships, and a clear pathway to success.
An experienced educational leader, Mrs. Page’s career has centered on alternative education, instructional leadership, literacy, specialized programming, and the development of student-centered systems. Prior to joining Phoenix Academy, she served as the founding principal of Bulldog Academy in Thomasville, North Carolina, where she designed and implemented an alternative education program focused on student re-engagement, credit recovery, restorative practices, individualized support, attendance improvement, and successful pathways toward graduation.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Page has served as a principal, assistant principal, curriculum and instructional specialist, and Pre-K coordinator. Her experience spans elementary, middle, and high school settings, as well as virtual learning and specialized programs. This broad perspective has shaped her belief that schools must be responsive to the academic, social-emotional, and individual needs of the students they serve.
Mrs. Page is recognized for building systems that pair high expectations with high levels of support. Her leadership work has included developing multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), implementing restorative practices, strengthening attendance and student-support systems, expanding personalized learning opportunities, and using data to improve instruction and student outcomes. At the center of her leadership is a commitment to ensuring students are known, valued, challenged, and connected to their school community.
Mrs. Page believes that alternative education is not about lowering expectations—it is about removing barriers, creating opportunities, and recognizing that there can be more than one pathway to success.

Beyond her work at the school level, Mrs. Page has presented at state and national conferences on literacy innovation, instructional improvement, data-informed leadership, and the use of emerging technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
Mrs. Page earned a Bachelor of Science degree in English and a Master of School Administration from Fayetteville State University and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Augusta University. She is also a Reading Specialist and is currently pursuing her doctorate in Educational Leadership.
